Council Of All Beings

The Council of All Beings is dedicated to bringing the voices of nature, youth, indigenous people, and the powerless to the places where decisions are made.  We gather every month to honor all of creation, and have annual events to raise awareness about the importance of the natural world.  In 2011, we were host to the International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers, who came to Montpelier, Vermont to convene our first Council at the State House.  Photos of the event are below, along with our constitution and rules of order.  In 2012, we convened again at the State House and passed a Bill of Rights for Nature, which is also below.  Monthly meetings are held every new moon at the Old Shelter in Hubbard Park at 5:00 pm.  Everyone is welcome to join us.  If you would like to receive our newsletters, sign up below:
